Purge Palantir

STOP ICE, STOP MASS SURVEILLANCE

Campaign Materials and Toolkits

Billionaire Trump supporter Peter Thiel founded both Palantir Technologies and Flock Safety.

Palantir has a $30 million contract with ICE to help them track and hunt down community members they want to deport. Palantir has numerous other government contracts in the U.S. and across the globe, including with the government of Israel’s military as they carried out the horrific killing of over 70,000 Palestinians.

Flock Safety provides the license-plate readers and other surveillance tools that are increasingly in use everywhere we turn. Police Departments are using them; stores including Home Depot are using them!  In addition to concerns about privacy and mass surveillance, some reports indicate that Flock has shared private data with federal government agencies.

We are working to expose the tremendous harm that  Peter Thiel and his companies Palantir and Flock Safety are having on our lives, our freedoms and our country as a whole.

We are getting government, private corporations and politicians to break with Palantir, Flock Safety and Thiel.

OUR DEMANDS / OUR CAMPAIGNS

  • Purge Palantir [No $ to]:  Get government agencies and companies to cancel their contracts and end any business with Palantir, Flock Safety or Thiel.  See materials up top

We don’t want our data to be harvested, shared and put into a mass surveillance system. We don’t abide by any kind of partnership with those that are helping ICE attack our people and communities. We know who has contracts. We are starting with public agencies and providers of public services.

  • Palantir Payroll [No $ from]:  Get elected officials and candidates to refuse or return campaign contributions from Peter Theil and his enterprises. We are forcing a growing number of politicians to stand up and reject the Thiel network of organizations and what they stand for.  See materials up top

Billionaire Peter Thiel, who hand-picked and bankrolled JD Vance’s VP campaign, has also railed against diversity and immigrant rights, and is a long-time champion of limited government.

Thiel’s deep pockets and hateful position contribute to his power in Trump’s world; by backing Republicans, Thiel’s companies, namely Palantir Technologies, have won multi-billion dollar contracts from the government that have made Thiel even richer.

Boycott Home Depot

STOP ICE, STOP THEIR CORPORATE ENABLERS

We’re Not Shopping at Home Depot!

Home Depot has willingly allowed ICE agents to enter its parking lots and stores without valid judicial warrants, and has refused to condemn the violence taking place on its property. To make matters worse, it has  also joined the mass surveillance of citizens through the Flock Safety network.

We’re saying enough is enough! Let’s hit them where it hurts: their profits.  BOYCOTT Home Depot!

Boycott - Dictionary Entry
boycott 147
boycott
/ˈboi-kät/
verb  ·  boy·cott·ed  ·  boy·cott·ing
1. To refuse to buy a product or take part in an activity as a way to express strong disapproval or force change.

WHY HOME DEPOT?

As the federal government escalates its campaign of terror in our communities, Corporations like Home Depot and their billionaire owners willingly enable this authoritarian regime’s violence for the sake of their own profits.

  • Home Depot parking lots have been used by federal immigration agencies as a stage for the repeated targeting of workers and customers, yet Home Depot has refused to condemn the use of their stores to target our families
  • Home Depot allows ICE agents onto its property and into its stores without demanding a valid judicial warrant, as other businesses have required
  • Home Depot contracts with video surveillance companies like Flock Safety, to record license plate and vehicle data of customers
  • Home Depot cofounders have donated millions of dollars to support the Trump administration
  • Home Depot depends on the Latino community for business and invests in targeted advertisements focused on the future growth of Latino business, yet refuses to make its stores and parking lots safe for Latinos

Now is the time for both labor and community to come together to say “Not with our money!”

OUR DEMANDS:

  • Deny ALL federal immigration agencies access to its stores and parking lots for any staging, surveilling, assaulting, or kidnapping; and take measures to protect all day laborers and customers on their premises.
  • Publicly denounce ICE assaults, kidnappings, and disappearances of our community members from their parking lots and stores.
  • Cancel its contracts with ALPR video surveillance companies, such as Flock Safety.
  • Commit to creating safe and welcoming spaces, free from harassment or intimidation, for all people, regardless of status
  • Provide compensation to families negatively impacted by these anti-immigrant raids that have taken place on Home Depot premises for their pain, suffering, and ALL unspecified damages.

How do boycotts work?

Protesting to voice our outrage with the attacks on our communities is necessary and important – but stopping the Trump administration and their billionaire donors’ campaign of terror on our communities will take mass non-cooperation.  We have the power to stop them if we organize together to hurt the only thing they care about – their money!

Get plugged in below to help spread the word about how we can stop the Trump billionaires by boycotting their businesses, starting with The Home Depot!

Tax the Billionaires

FUND HOUSING, HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION, THE SAFETY-NET…NOW!

While we push back against the attacks on our communities, and the people and interests behind these attacks, we also have to advance a proactive campaign to win immediate relief for our people and set up longer-term system change.

California is a state of great abundance. It is the wealthiest state in the U.S, with the most corporations generating the largest revenue.  We have the resources to ensure that everyone has access to affordable housing, public health, fully funded schools and safety-net programs.

Big corporations in California have seen  their profits skyrocket while Californians struggle to make ends meet. Big corporations and the people at the top accomplish this by paying meager wages – that in no way keep up with the cost of living –  using tax breaks and schemes to not pay their taxes, and rigging the system to allow this wealth hoarding. California has the 4th largest economy in the world and nearly 200 billionaires

Meet California's Billionaires

There is plenty of money in California to ensure that everyone has access to HOUSING, HEALTHCARE, FULLY-FUNDED SCHOOLS and SAFETY-NET SERVICES.

If corporations and the wealthy paid their fair share, we could stave off the harm to Californians and invest in a better future for all of us, with healthcare, food assistance, childcare, education and housing for all.

California has the opportunity to be a beacon of light in the darkness.

We are calling on our state leaders to protect Californians from the harmful federal cuts by making corporations pay their fair share.

Choose Californians over billionaires.

If corporations and the wealthy paid their fair share, we could stave off the harm to Californians and invest in a better future for all of us, with healthcare, food assistance, childcare, education and housing for all.

The State of California can raise tens of billionaires to fund these basic needs by closing corporate tax loopholes and increasing taxes on some of the most profitable big corporations and the rich.  Actions that the State Legislature can and should take include:

California's 2026 Prosperity Platform

RECLAIM BILLIONS FROM BIG CORPORATIONS ANNUALLY FOR THE CALIFORNIA STATE BUDGET

Close corporate tax loopholes - eliminate the “waters edge” election

Establish a penalty tax on big corporations who do not provide health insurance and whose employees qualify for MediCal (due to poverty wages)

Establish a graduated corporate income tax

Digital ads tax

FUND OUR FUTURES

HOUSING: 1 million affordable homes by 2030

HEALTHCARE: Make it affordable and accessible to all Californians regardless of immigration status

EDUCATION: Fully funded

FOOD ASSISTANCE: Make up federal cuts to SNAP

Boycott Target

Tell Target: Stand with Us, Not ICE!

Don’t shop at Target! We are participating in a nationwide boycott, demanding that Target agree to:

  1. Reinstate its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives;
  2. Refuse ICE and other immigration enforcement agencies entry to their property without a court issued legal warrant;
  3. Publicly denounce the administration’s assault on immigrants and communities of color

DEI rollback backlash
In January 2025, Target announced it would scale back its DEI programs following President Trump’s executive order to dismantle federal DEI efforts.  Pastor Jamal Bryant, a leader in the boycott, said the Black community spends millions daily at Target, and the move was seen as a political stance against diversity. This sparked a consumer-led boycott that contributed to a 3% drop in first-quarter sales and a 4% stock decline Newsweek.

ICE and Border Patrol cooperation
The boycott has intensified after viral videos showed Border Patrol agents detaining two U.S. citizens inside a Target store in Minnesota in January 2026. The employees were arrested for allegedly assaulting federal officers, but were later released after verifying their citizenship.  Target has allowed ICE and Border Patrol agents to enter and operate inside its stores.

Too many big corporations are cynically supporting the Trump administration’s assault on our rights and freedoms, while they benefit from deregulation, tax breaks and more. It’s time for corporate america to choose democracy over authoritarianism and choose the good of the majority over benefit for the wealthiest few.
